How the X-FLOW Solar Collector System Works
Solar energy is the cleanest and most inexhaustible of all known energy sources. Solar radiation is the heat, light and other radiation that is emitted from the sun. It contains huge amounts of energy and is responsible for almost all the natural processes on earth.
Solar energy is an excellent alternative for heating a pool. The pool season coincides with the optimal time of the year for making use of solar energy and the X-FLOW system only needs to work at relatively low temperatures. Pools often only need to be 27-30 °C.
High efficiency and quick response time – due to the large active absorption area and the turbulent water flow inside the absorbators unique x-channel system.
- Suitable for above and inground pools
- 10 year warranty
- Half the install time of conventional tubing systems
- More efficient
- No extra pumps required - works off the existing filtration system
- DIY available
- Easy to assemble
- Low pressure
- More energy efficient and economical than older systems
- No separate provisions required for the solar heating system - uses the existing pump from the filtration system.
- Stays tidy - no loose pipes
- Swedish design and manufacture, high quality
- Works in wide range of temperatures
- Automatic and manual systems available
No less than 85 per cent of the absorber surface consists of water channels. The material is only 0.5 mm thick and the volume of water is small, only about 2 litres per absorber. This makes the constant small, i.e. the absorber reacts quickly to variations in solar radiation, increasing the annual efficiency of heating by up to 10 per cent. Another possible use is in cooling arrangements.
The absorbers are produced in series. After embossing, the material is HF (High Frequency) welded and cut clean. Connections are fixed, and after inspection and pressure testing, they are ready for delivery. Integrated couplings allow for quick and easy installation without any special tools.
Main Advantages:
- No corrosion or clogging
- Light weight
- High performance
- Easy installation
